So this is great for that. I bought this bluetooth because I wanted to able to listen to music and be able to recivce calls with the same device. So I wanted to be able to listin to music, and answer phone calls while driving, and only have an ear piece in one ear. I don't like having headphones in both my ears while driving. If you don't need a stereo bluetooth I would get somthing else like the Plantronics 925 ( my wife has one and loves it). This was the only device I found that could do that, without having one of those dumb dog tag style devices.
No matter which of the ear buds I use it feel lose like its gonna fall out( though it hasn't yet). The mute and volume buttons are pretty small hard to use while your driving. I comute a long distance to work. Only thing is it doesn't fit to well in my ears. The sound quality is OK. If you only have one of the ear buds in its only one chanel( but what'd you expect). But besides that it great devive if you need this kinda bluetooth.
A improved 855 would be nice.
Heartbroken and minus one star because.:( It died on me. call quality sounded great3) I used this thing a LOT.
listened mostly to audiobooks and podcasts with this set, though I thought music sounded amazing considering it was Bluetooth. Loved this headset because.1) Sound was very good.
very easy to operate. Rich sound.
This was my first A2DP device and it worked better than I ever hoped it would2) Worked great on calls. and never had a problem with running it out of juice.
Good thing is, it died just in time for me to get it back within the 30 day Amazon return period
Pros: -Awesome design-Excellent functionality-Extremely light.-Fancy carry case-Charges with any Micro USB-Music quality is quite okCons:-The silver painting get wiped which gives it a cheap look-Hard to configure to work with windows (till now I am not able to use its mic)-Battery life is not great-Call quality is not great
It is small, and the sound quality is great. I enjoy listening to music and podcasts on my cell phone. The Plantronics Voyager 855 Bluetooth Headset is the perfect type of headset for for this purpose. I especially like the ability to use the stereo option. I keep the pouch in my jacket pocket this winter and it fits in the pocket perfectly.
It's so much nicer not to have to deal with wires or bulk to listen to music on my phone. It apparently works fine as a hands free phone device as long as my coat, or the train announcements, don't muffle my voice. It was easy to pair with my phone (though not so with my computer), and the music sounds great during my commute. The earbud does come loose sometimes just like the reviews stated, but you just push it back in. This is the first hands free device I've had, so I'm not very up to speed on these things. But it's perfect for music phones.
